Tagged by the Five Things Meme

It looks as if I've been tagged by Abel PharmBoy, who wants to know more about me, why thank you Abel PharmBoy I am quite honoured.

But I didn't really know what it meant to be tagged so I did a little research. According to Digital History Hacks, it's like a bloggosphere chain letter, where the idea is to list five things about yourself that people probably don't know and then tag five other bloggers to keep it going. It turns out that a Google Blog Search returns 86272 hits for "5 things." Crazy, huh?

So following PharmBoy's 5 Things:

5 Things I was Doing 10 years Ago:

1. Moved to BigCity, Canada, (LandOfBigTrees) to start a MSc.
2. Married to Husband #1.
3. Had two adorable cats.
4. Was in over my head, but nonetheless terribly excited at the prospect of something entirely different.
5. Was 20 lbs heavier than I am today.

5 Things On My To-Do List Today:

1. Eat breakfast.
2. Get my experiments started early in the morning so I don't have to be at work past 7pm.
3. Work at least 1 hr on that manuscript from my PhD. Argh! Kick the monkey.
4. Enjoy the walk to school.
5. Do some yin yoga in the evening followed by meditation.

5 Snacks I Love:

1. Sour cream and onion chips. (These seem plentiful here, I may just put back those 20 lbs)
2. Rice crackers.
3. Carrots (weird, I know)
4. HippieHusband's homemade sourdough and Cheese. Lots of cheese. (this is bad because if you are lactose intolerant it can lead to a cheese hangover. Nasty.)
5. Cashews.

5 Things I Would Do If I Were A Millionaire:

1. Take HippieHusband and go on a fabulous honeymoon. (I just got married late this summer and when my dad asked where we went on our honeymoon, I said a SmallTown In America.
2. Pay off my student loans and BestFriend's student loans.
3. Adopt a little girl from the middle east.
4. Buy 100 acres of land in TheLandOfBigTrees and build a house. (I stole this idea from Pharmboy)
5. Maybe buy that 44 gun safe. (Just kiddin')

5 Places I've Lived:

1. In the house where Lorne Greene used to live. (I didn't know who Lorne Greene was either but he's a Canadian actor, famous for a Western TV show called Bonanaza. Can't say that I've seen it.)
2. In an apartment which had mushrooms growing out of the kitchen ceiling.
3. Kerbala, Iraq.
4. Above First Christ Church, Scientist, where on Wednesday nights, you could hear wailing. Creepy.
5. A SmallTown, somewhere in the Pacific Northwest of America.

5 Jobs I've Had:

1. Artistic Producer of a theatre company.
2. Playwright.
3. City Reporter of a large newspaper in a BigCity in Canada.
4. Games girl at a ThemePark.
5. Post-doctoral fellow.
