That's really wierd as I went to submit this post, an ad for cheap hernia surgery popped up.
Freaky.
I won't be blogging for a while since I'm going in for day surgery and have no idea how long recovery will take. Day surgery is a walk in the park, given that I've already done the whole brain surgery thing.
Three surgeries in the span of a single year. Who could beat that?
You could say that this Canadian has gotten to know the American healthcare system quite intimately!
I've traveled far and wide to get here. For sentimental reasons I've held onto my old blogposts. If you're curious about my past this blog used to be called Canadian GirlPostdoc in America. It documented my experience as a Canadian postdoc living and working in the United States. Now I work in the biotech industry and practice buddhism. Still married to HippieHusband and we've since had an addition - our dog.
